St Joseph’s offers a range of sports across both our internal and external sporting program.
Sports at St Joseph’s include rugby league, rugby union, netball, basketball, swimming, athletics, cross country, touch football, cricket, soccer and futsal.
As a school, we are very proud of the fact that in recent years we have been victorious in a variety of state, regional, diocesan and polding competitions in a number of team sports. There have also been many notable individual achievements by our students with selection in prominent teams and in individual-based sports such as PSSA All School teams.
Students can participate in sport gala days, Newcastle Knights Knockout, Danny Buderus Sevens, Newcastle Knights All School carnivals, League of Legends shield, NSW Catholic Primary Schools Basketball Challenge, Netball State Cup, Paul Kelly Cup and Futsal State event.
